new-year-celebrationPuerto Vallarta, Mexico – Come to where it never snows!

2015 kicks off with many of our family of friends coming back to spend time in one of the most beautiful places in Mexico – Puerto Vallarta. The live entertainment options continue to grow and bring professional productions for us to enjoy. New performers join our favorites to make sure that Vallarta continues to offer, in addition to sun, surf and sand, a wide range of music, comedy, musical theatre, and activities.

See details below for some of the events that you absolutely do not want to miss and how to join in all the No Way José! celebrations.

When you find yourself a little lonely for Vallarta energy, check out the live stream on the Cuates & Cuetes Webcam. Click here to view Los Muertos Beach, the pier, and happy people strolling. We hope it makes you eager for a return trip soon.

From the whole team at No Way José!, hasta pronto!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Us!

3 courses – $499 pesos

Valentine’s Day ranks as our favorite holiday in Tu Casa en Vallarta. So much love in the house, that you can’t help but float out at the end of the evening. Great food, great cocktails, great live musical entertainment, La Cocina de Amor, and one of the most charming service teams in Vallarta. We have had the privilege of being the restaurant of choice for marriage proposals (see the photo from our most recent proposal below) and new love found in previous years. We can barely wait to see what this year will bring!

Enjoy an aphrodisiacal meal starting with…

First course – your choice of:

Soup – My First Time – cream of asparagus presented in a ruby red apple. “Asparagus stirs up lust in man and woman.”

OR

Salad – Julia’s Miracle – red roses, bugambilia, sunflowers, and arugula tossed in a red berry vinagrette. “St. Valentine’s first miracle was restoring the sight of a woman named Julia.”

Second course – your choice of:

Prince Charming – Red Snapper filet with a creamy pomegranate sauce. “The pom owes its passion power to antioxidants, which protect the lining of blood vessels allowing more blood to course through them. The upshot? Increased sensitivity in those important places!”

OR

My True Love – Thick cut pork chop with black currant glaze. “Black currant is indeed an aphrodisiac, and should be consumed with great care.”

Dessert – your choice of:

Juno’s Brownie – Chocolate and peanut butter brownie with vanilla ice cream and a red berry sauce.
“The Roman Goddess Juno Februata, was celebrated as the goddess of the “fever” of love and fertility.”

OR

Sparrow’s Heart – White chocolate mousse with raspberry glaze and toasted coconut. St. Valentine advised lovers that “all birds seek a mate with whom to fly with all their lives. As such, men of God look for their loves with whom to be together forever.”

Available only to our “What’s Happening at No Way José!” loyal newsletter readers, mention “I want some No Way José! love for Valentine’s Day” while making your reservation online or at the restaurant and be eligible to win a bottle of wine to enjoy that evening. mardi-gras-2015
Puerto Vallarta’s Mardi Gras ’15 boasts more than 50 entries so far for the parade. The parade route begins at El Parque Hidalgo in Centro, goes up the Malecon, down right past Tu Casa en Vallarta (where No Way José! staff will be waiting for you with a Mardi Gras surprise!) up to V. Carranza and up to Olas Altas where the parade ends at Francisca Rodriguez.

Mardi Gras is a time for celebration and to highlight the diversity we enjoy in Vallarta. It is an occasion that unites the advanced with the conventional, the straight with the gay, gratification with religion, and the adolescent with the old. 20,000 spectators enjoyed last year’s parade which featured dozens of crowd-wowing entries.

Let the good times roll!

Don’t forget to round it up!
