No Way José! Unveils Your New Oyster Bar

Season 6 Open Party – Monday, Sept 15

In March 2005, American and Italian scientists announced that there is some truth to the long-standing belief that oysters can get folks feeling frisky. In the study, scientists took raw oysters and used a process to pinpoint specific amino acids present in the oysters. They discovered amino acids which produced testosterone in male studies and progesterone in females, which increases libido. The conclusion: “Yes, I do think these molluscs are aphrodisiacs,” said the head of the research team. We knew it all along! Click here to learn more about the research study.

With incredible pleasure we announce the No Way José! Oyster Bar premiering at our Season Open Party on Monday, Sept 15 to celebrate El Grito de la Independencia.

In addition to fresh oysters on the half-shell, straight from the waters of Tehuamixtle, Jalisco, your Cocina de Amor has 3 additional prepared oyster dishes for your pleasure.
If you are in Vallarta, we hope to see you to celebrate!

chiles-en-nogada

Since we opened our doors in 2009, our Chiles en Nogada boasts the spot as the #1 favorite among our family of friends.

The traditional chile en nogada is from Puebla. The dish is tied to the independence of Mexico since it is said they were prepared for the first time to entertain the emperorvAgustín de Iturbide when he came to the city after his naming as Agustín I. This dish is a source of pride for the inhabitants of the state of Puebla.

To celebrate el mes de la patria and welcome back the No Way José! friends of the family enjoy your #1 dish plus a glass of Mexican wine or beer for only $135 pesos during the month of September.

Delivering on Our Promise…

Client Testimonial from Chillout AZ, Cave Creek, Arizona…

“What a great place to eat! I checked on Trip Advisor and Yelp for a good restaurant in downtown PV. No Way Jose!’s came up. The reviews were good, so we thought we would give it a try. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. They have upstairs (open air) and downstairs (air conditioned) seating. We choose the upstairs.

The food was excellent, and homemade. I recommend the tableside Caesar salad. Nicely done and worth the show. We ordered shrimp (Spicy), Chicken Mole, and two flank steaks. My daughter, who is a picky eater said ” This is one of the best steaks I have ever had”. From her, that’s huge. Everything was outstanding, and reasonably priced.

Overall, a great place to eat! I think what impressed us the most, was that they made us feel like we were part of the family over for dinner. Cant’s wait to come back to PV and eat at No Way Jose!’s again!”

Muchas Gracias, Chillout. We hope to see you again soon!
